Summary
Liquid, acryl based material for priming of all porous and absorptive substrates made of concrete, plaster board, plaster based on anhydrite or cement etc. before tile fixing. Increases adhesion between substrate and adhesive mortar layer. In non-diluted form applicable on wooden-based substrates in "dry room".
Supplied in 1, 6 kg, plastic bottles/buckets.
This product is Used to seal the walls / floors before using Mira 4400 Multicoat.

Use
For priming of all porous and absorptive substrates made of concrete, light weight concrete, plaster board, plaster based on anhydrite or cement etc. before tile fixing. Increases adhesion between substrate and adhesive mortar layer. In non-diluted form applicable for preparation of watertight layer on walls in wet room like bathrooms, kitchens etc.
Substrate preparation
The substrate must be stable dry, compact, cleaned of dust, grease, oil etc. Concrete slurry (if any) should be removed, weaker parts of substrate should be removed and then repaired again. Dust can be removed with a vacuum cleaner. Grease, oil, dirt should be cleaned with 7110 base cleaner.
Technical conditions
a. Mixing
For priming of absorptive and porous cement based– substrates mix the sealer with water in the proportion: 1 part of 4120 sealer for 3 parts of water. For priming of wooden based - surfaces (plywood, fibreboard etc.) use non-diluted medium. For making watertight barrier use non-diluted medium.
b. Application
Apply mira 4120 sealer with a brush or roll. Priming layer should be spread only once. As watertight layer mira 4120 sealer should be applied twice (second layer after the first is dry after 1-2 hrs).
c. Temperature:
Minimum air and substrate temperature +6°C
d. Drying time:
1-2 hrs depending on temperature and air humidity.
Consumption:
12-16 m2/kg for diluted 4120 sealer (1:3)
6-10 m2/kg for non diluted - 4120 sealer (total consumption as moisture sealer)
Cleaning of tools:
Tools should be cleaned with water directly after use.
Packing:
Bottles / plastic buckets 1 and 6 kg.
Storage and transportation:
Transport and store frost free. Protect from excess heat and sunrays.
Storage period:
min.1 year from the production date in original and undamaged packing.
Industrial safety:
4120 sealer contains no harmful substances; thus no special safety means shall be used.
